Isaac Groove (@balmaceda_isaac), member of Boston group Plotmore has been on a tear of solo tracks. Hailing from Miami, he spent his childhood between Florida and around Boston. Originally recording songs by himself, he eventually made his way into the posse.
His most recent release, “K.T.G.,” features production from close friend and fellow Boston native SK. The song rolls in with a muted, somber guitar stringing that is soon accompanied by a more popping 808, providing the background for Isaac’s anthemic chorus about living large in Miami. His hungry flow is on par with the ambitious dreams he lays out for himself in the verses. Switching between looking back on the time he spent in classes versus the lofty goals he now strives for, Isaac depicts himself as being on that path to greatness, and for now just cutting down any opposition with his aggressive delivery and smooth rhymes.
“K.T.G.” serves as Isaac’s “hit-list” of what his daily practices are, and what he needs to do before his time is over. Until he is in Miami cruising in the Bentley, Isaac just has to “kill the game and get money.”
